Part of the reason I’m reblogging this, besides my belief in animal rights and my horror at the idea of animal abuse is because I want to comment that it seems ridiculous to say “Unfollow me if you don’t reblog” like circulating some photos on Tumblr will actually do anything to stop animal abuse.

You want to help stop animal abuse? Donate some money to the ASPCA. Adopt a pet from a pound. Volunteer at a shelter. Don’t sit on your ass feeling self-righteous and not doing anything about it.
